Thank you to everyone who participated in our annual Purple Pinky. We were able to raise $541 for the continued fight against polio! That works out to 3,246 polio vaccinations for children.

REAL Life
On Monday, September 13, we had a speaker from REAL LIFE. Kristen Johnson, the Director of Community Engagement and Development, spoke to us over a Zoom meeting. REAL LIFE is an organization that serves individuals who have been impacted by incarceration, homelessness, or substance use disorder by giving them an opportunity to overcome their personal and community barriers. School Supply Drive!
School Supply Drive! Help us get school supplies for the children in Church Hill. Please drop off supplies at Honey Whyte's. We will be collecting Aug. 6- Aug. 31. Virginia Tax Free Weekend is August 6-8. If you would like to skip the shopping but would still like to donate, please do so through our Rotary Club of Church Hill VENMO account below. Just use your phone to scan the QR code.
Food Pantry for Church Hill Community
The Church Hill Rotary Club built and installed a food pantry and placed it in front of the Peter Paul Development Center (1708 N. 22nd St, Richmond, VA). Members take turns filling the pantry every week with nutritious foods for the community.
Robinson Theatre Block Party
Church Hill Rotary participated in the Robinson Theatre Block Party. Due to weather, the festivities moved inside but that did not stop the fun!
Roundabout Clean-up in Church Hill
Members of the Church Hill Rotary got together to clean up 2 roundabouts in the Church Hill area.
Robinson Theatre Movie Night
Church Hill Rotary Members volunteered at the Robinson Theatre to help sell concessions for the movie. Church Hill families watched Trolls World Tour.
The Hill Topper 5k 2017 Recap
Thank you to everyone that came out for the 4th Hill Topper 5k race in Church Hill. The Church Hill Rotary Club had an absolute blast planning for the race, getting the course set up, and watch you all absolutely have a blast running it. Participation in this race has helped raise thousands of dollars for the Robinson Theater and Rotary's Polio Plus campaign. Plus, more than $250 in additional donations were made by runners to the Robinson Theater. Thank you all for coming out and making this event a great success. Here they are!
